So today I put together this shelf for the living room. I had the pipes for a couple of years left over from an old apartment and figured I would finally put them to use. I screwed an old task lamp to the shelf, threw an old photo of
Diamond Head, and a tiny Jade plant on it and that's about it. I found the task lamp at a flea a few years ago and I think it's from the 1950s, although I'm not certain. I need to
accessorize the shelf a bit but I think I like it. Next on my list for the living room is getting a new rug. I have had this one for maybe 5 or 6 years. It's super soft and held up really well but I got it way before I got the sofa and now the room is so gray and I'm just really tired of it.
