Roman and Williams: Montauk

I came across these photos of Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch of Roman and Williams Montauk weekend house on NYTimes.com. I basically stay up on their website just looking at the work they've done over and over and over, so I was excited to see new photos of work I have already seen. Not only is their weekend house incredible but it's in one of my favorite places on earth. Growing up on LI I spent a lot of time out in Montauk. Some of my best childhood memories are of friends and I surfing out in front of the East Deck in at Ditch Plains. Montauk is a special place, it's much more laid back and less pretentious than the Hamptons. It is also less seasonal, with tons of fishermen, mostly Irish immigrants holding down Montauk all year round.

Deck Towel

@ Deck Towel via Identical Eye

I came across these incredible linen towels while reading one of my favorite blogs, Identical Eye. These are a must for the summer. So good for the beach but also thinking they might be perfect for a summer throw for those chillier nights hanging out on the deck.

Factory Tool Co. LTD

@ f-tool

Factory Tool Co. LTD is a dope design company from Japan. I'm not usually to into new stuff that's made to look old but these guys do a very nice job. From super nice herringbone floors to interesting signage and windows they seem to be pretty on point.

Mac X ACE

My NYC stunt double Mac Huelster painted a super dope mural at the Ace Hotel here in Manhattan last week. Mac and I get mistaken for each other all the time (all tall white people don't look alike fools!!) Mac is a super talented painter and an equally as talented stylist, styling for brands like Nautica, Dockers, and many more. Check out his blog here

Where I Stay

I decided that I'm going to post some photos of where I live. Most of my favorite blogs share images of their home and what I like most is seeing their progress. My space is exactly that, a work in progress. I have a problem of looking at a million things and never getting anything for my home. I'm trying to get better about pulling the trigger and hopefully I can share my progress with you guys. These are some photos of the building I live in. The mural is done by David Ellis I love where I live!!! Photos of the interior coming soon.
