Some images of the physical store in SF.

A friend who visited SF not too long ago put me on to this store. It looks like interior designer Will Wick has put together a nice collection of goods from around the world. If I ever make it to SF this will be on my list of places to check out for sure.

Obsession: Wood Walls

This bedroom is so ill. I was kind of confused by the picture, I guess it's a loft bed, but is that a leather floor or ottoman? Whatever it is, it's amazing.
ooooh those herringbone floors too?! damn.
I love everything about this room.
just simple plywood and some kind of weird not so nice chairs, but it looks so good. I feel like this is some kind of beach house or lake house.
I love the look of it being more modern and simple but still warm with all that wood.
and that light fixture? so good.

So lets see... I need herringbone wood floors, red bentwood chairs, and WOOD WALLS!!

Unstyled Bedroom

Usually my bedroom does end up being the last thing that I think of when it comes to styling. I don't know if it's because it's the room that the guests don't see or what it is exactly but it usually gets the shaft when it comes to getting the same attention that the rest of the house does. Here are some pics of some unstyled bedrooms that I think look great. The bed not being made also makes me feel a little better about my laziness.

"Down Pipe" Green

via hashai

I've always stuck with super safe colors but lately I have really been tempted to go with something more bold. I had been thinking a dark charcoal grey or a black but after coming across these photos now I'm thinking green. I love how the walls, moldings and doors are all painted green, I think that's the only way to go if you use a dark color otherwise molding ends up looking cartoonish or something.

Jaw Dropping Prefab by Jens Risom

via LIFE archive

Last month in my icons post I included an image of this amazing Jens Risom prefab. These were just too good to not post the rest.
